To be timeless Batik

"BATIK FOREVER" became the theme of a grand degree Batik Nusantara exhibition, which is held in the Conference Hall of Jakarta Convention Center. The exhibition was held for five consecutive days to raise the color purple as the color trends in batik in 2009.

Indonesian Batik Foundation, organizer of the exhibition, said degree Batik Nusantara 2009 is better attended than the previous year, mainly in terms of product types to be displayed, and the zone of interior exhibition which will be tailored to the type of product.

That amount represents 36.46 percent of total exports of Indonesian batik in 2007.
