Born Batik Sorry!

Born Batik Sorry!

It's not euphoria, but a sense of satisfaction when our commodities "protected" by the organization worldwide. In the arena of creative economy, all assets (let alone the abstract) must be protected. Including batik. European countries already protecting their assets.

Once the alias PDO Protected Designation of Origin? These are the rules of European Union countries, where a product that uses the "brand" certain, must be produced from a particular region. Eg champagne, a sparkling alcoholic beverage that may only be produced in the village of Champagne, France. The others? His name was pirated champagne.

The same rule applies for Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, drink Cognac, and many more. That is, SMEs craftsmen in the area can take advantage of the economic value of their products without being bothered by outsiders, because admit it, they have developed these products for decades (or even hundreds of years). Not much right?

Although PDO is only valid in the EU, currently being launched by a number of bilateral cooperation for mengenforce PDO in countries outside the EU. Wow: D

Batik recognition by UNESCO as a first step to protect our wealth, and hopefully inspire other regions to participate in protecting their culture (angklung reportedly is in the process). At the time when the research appears batik craftsmen will be extinct within five years, the easiest thing we can do is a little more often wear batik (write).
