TO OUR VALUABLE Heritage Conservation

Today, dated October 2, 2009, is a special day for Indonesian culture. On this day the President invited all the Indonesian people wear batik, batik to mangayubagyo inauguration as Cultural Heritage by UNESCO's Objects.

During this batik is already very popular in Indonesia as a formal dress, worn at formal events formal private and state. Although not as formal suit, batik clothes are deemed 'worthy' to appear on any formal event: state, academic, and socially.

On the other hand, batik clothing also can appear to be very fashionable at the hands of a seasoned designer. Who has never heard the name Nusjirwan Tirtaamidjaja, alias Iwan Tirta? Iwan is one of the characters pursue a consistent fashion, and develop Indonesian batik. He not only designs clothing, but also developed batik with new patterns.

Apart from being an elegant and formal wear fashionable dresses classy haute couture, batik can appear very close to the people in the form ... negligee! No clothes are more comfortable for relaxing at home exceeds the house dress made batik santung which had been washed hundreds of times until a thin cloth. That's the beauty of batik, fabric that can be used for every class, every opportunity, and all purposes.
